ARAMANDA

Aramanda is a Cruiser Stern Project Narrowboat. She was built in 1974 by Hancock & Lane Boat Builders. She features a popular reverse layout, is tastefully decorated, and is well presented. Propulsion is by a BMC 1.5 diesel engine.

Upon entering from the stern into the walkthrough galley, she benefits from a fridge-freezer, a gas oven, and a hob, along with ample storage below the countertops making the perfect liveaboard. Featuring x2 solar panels she is nicely set up to live off-grid. Moving on from the back of the boat and into the cosy saloon, she features a Bubble stove (not connected). The shower room is fitted with a Thetford cassette toilet, a large shower, and a vanity basin. To finish is the master bedroom with tiered drawers, a wardrobe, and hanging units, leaving no wasted space for storage. The second sleeping arrangement is x2 single beds as seen. This is great for those with children, or using as a leisure vessel. However, this can be easily converted into another double bed if desired.

For the right buyer there is the possibility of this mooring being available in the sale, subject to marina successful application. Following a recent survey, it was the surveyor's opinion that the bottom plate has enveloped due to a previous over-plating job. The vendor has reduced the price of the boat as there is some work to be carried out to the bottom plate identified after a recent survey on the boat. The vendor would ask this work be carried out post- completion in line with any reduction. Access to the recent survey can be given upon request and seen in person on viewing the vessel.
