DESCRIPTION
Life's for Living is a 58' Cruiser Stern Narrowboat built in 2010 by Skater Marine. She features a popular reverse layout, is tastefully decorated, has been maintained to a high standard, and is well presented. Propulsion is by an Isuzu 38HP diesel engine and bow thrusters.
Coupled with x2 solar panels benefitting from 500W on the roof of the boat, she is nicely set up to live off-grid. Upon entering from the stern and into the cozy saloon, she features a solid fuel stove and a Pullman's dinette which drops down into a double bed, and there is a large side hatch on the starboard side of the boat. Into the walkthrough galley, she boasts a fridge-freezer, a gas oven, and a separate hob, along with ample storage below the countertops making the perfect liveaboard. The shower room is fitted with a Thetford cassette toilet, a large shower, and a vanity basin. The bedroom at the bow of the boat features a fitted double bed, a wardrobe, and hanging units, leaving no wasted space for storage.
Recently re-painted in 2022 she looks stunning on arrival. Blacked in 2022 and the last survey also being done in the same year, she really is providing peace of mind on purchase. For the right buyer the boat even comes with a possible Manchester City Center Mooring.
You may recognize the boat from the Channel 4 TV series 'Great Canal Journeys'. Featuring Gyles Brandreth and Sheila Hancock as they navigate their way through the Leeds & Liverpool Canal aboard this beautiful boat.
